Results of FITASC Grand Prix Latvia 2014 in Compak Sporting

FITASC Grand Prix Latvia 2014 in Compak Sporting was held on August 2-3 in Riga Shooting Centre
 with support of hunting centre „Purnavu Muiža”. More than 80 participants from 11 European
countries were competing for the plentiful prize fund and Blaser F3 shotgun.

The best shooters in five categories were cleared during competition.The first place convincingly won multi – World and European champion George Digweed from UK.

Top shooters from Latvia Edgars Galeckis and Girts Runnis shared the seventh place.

All the first three places for ladies took Latvian shooters Agnese Caune (1st place), Ira Kirenska (2nd place) and IvetaGalecka (3rd place).


Alo Ling from Estonia took the leading place in Veterans category, Jean-Marie Dinghin from France
remained unbeaten in Super-Veterans and our 
Artjom Blochin (Latvia) was the best within Juniors.



Flying of targets was set by Eric Manshoven (Belgium) – the well known winner of championships and now – installing targets for World and European Championships.

„We are gathering the best Sporting shooters already for the third year consecutively to determine FITASC Grand Prix of Latvia 2014 winners. Shooting legend and Champion of the World – George Digweed- from United Kingdom was again participating in this sporting event strongly confirming his World Champion’s status. We are very pleased that 84 shooters from 11 European countries were attending this competition and this is largest number of participants and countries represented until now, proofing that this competition is organized in high level.”
